Sankranti will be celebrated on 16th July…The only district of rajasthan is known as an astronomical event. The Tropic of cancer passes through Banswara of udaipur division. The administration is now going to celebrate it as a festival. Many events are proposed to be held during the cancer sankranti festival. Banswara Divisional Commissioner Neeraj K Pawan has formed a committee after holding a meeting. He told that the astronomical event makar sankranti is organized at many places across the country on 14 and 15 January. Therefore, cancer sankranti will also be celebrated on the lines of Makar Sankranti.The Tropic of cancer also passes through Banswara. Regarding this, this time cancer sankranti will be celebrated on 16th July. He said that events will also be organized to promote tourism. The Divisional Commissioner further told that on 21st june the rays of the sun will be 100 percent vertical on the Tropic of Cancer.This astronomical event will also be celebrated as a festival. Not only this, Commissioner Neeraj K Pawan has issued instructions to the district Education Officers. In the instructions, all schools have been appealed to inform the children about the event.When will sankranti be celebrated in Banswara?A decision has also been taken to mark the place where the Tropic of cancer passes through the district. He said that sign boards will be made to make the visiting tourists aware. Let us tell you that the number of tourists is increasing every year in Udaipur. Many experiments are being done by the administration to take the tourists to Banswara and to accommodate them. Tourists have started coming to Banswara, a city with 100 islands. Efforts are being made to promote tourism further. Rajasthan's second largest mahi Bajaj Dam is also in Banswara.
