8 days left for counting - special focus!!!

Countdown has started for the counting of votes in AP. Only one more week is left to know who will come to power in the state. As the counting of votes is nearing, the election commission is making elaborate arrangements. Strict precautions are being taken for the counting in view of the post-poll clashes. Three-tier security arrangements have been made at counting centers and strong rooms across the state without any controversy. CC cameras will be installed in all the counting centers. Also security measures have been taken with central forces.

Special focus on problem areas
The election commission has focused on Tadipatri of Anantapur district, Macharla of Palnadu district and chandragiri of tirupati district, where violent incidents took place after polling. On the day of polling, there were riots in those areas. There is still an atmosphere of tension. The restrictions imposed by the police on the TDP and ycp leaders of the three constituencies are continuing. Hundreds left their villages. Moreover, the arrests of those who participated in the riots and those responsible for them are continuing. In this order, the SPs of the respective districts were hunted and new ones were appointed in their place. Anantapur district SP Gautami Shali, tirupati district SP Harshavardhana Raju and Palnadu district SP mallika Garg recently took charge. The newly arrived SPs are whipping the rioters to bring peace and security under control in the three districts. During the counting, the SPs entered the field on the information that there would be riots even after that.

Direct information to SP
People of tirupati district also joined hands with the police to reduce the election tensions. In case of any unsocial activities, the SP is informed directly. In a very short time, SP Harshvardhan Raju came close to the people and brought law and order under control in the district. Moreover, activities have been prepared with the aim of successfully completing the counting process. Rowdy sheeters, old criminals, and political criminals are being punished. Not only that, pickets have been set up in 135 problematic villages across the district. The march continues in troubled villages.
