8 days left for counting - special focus!!!Countdown has started for the counting of votes in AP. Only one more week is left to know who will come to power in the state. As the counting of votes is nearing, the election commission is making elaborate arrangements. Strict precautions are being taken for the counting in view of the post-poll clashes. Three-tier security arrangements have been made at counting centers and strong rooms across the state without any controversy. CC cameras will be installed in all the counting centers. The election commission has focused on Tadipatri of Anantapur district, Macharla of Palnadu district and chandragiri of tirupati district, where violent incidents took place after polling. On the day of polling, there were riots in those areas. There is still an atmosphere of tension. The restrictions imposed by the police on the TDP and ycp leaders of the three constituencies are continuing. Hundreds left their villages.
