With these videos it is being told that EVMs have been tampered during voting in Maharashtra. Now after these videos surdata-faced, the election commission has given clarification on this. The Commission said that all these are old and nothing has happened with maharashtra EVMs.

Maharashtra Chief Electoral Officer said, "It has been observed that some old videos from other states are going viral through social media, in which mischievous elements try to spoil the election process and especially tamper with EVMs. It has been clarified that such videos are not related to the lok sabha elections." 2024 in Maharashtra.
