There was an assassination attempt on tdp candidate Bhuma Akhilapriya's bodyguard Nikhil in allagadda of nandyala district. The incident took place after midnight. Nikhil was standing outside Bhuma Akhilapriya's house when the assailants hit him with a car. Later, three persons attacked with deadly weapons. It is reported that the attackers came from nandyala in a car. As Nikhil was seriously injured in this attack, he was taken to nandyala Government Hospital for treatment. Remembering the old incident of AV Subbareddy during Nikhil Lokesh's padayatra, Bhuma Akhilapriya's AV followers are suspicious. Nikhil is believed to have been attacked by the Subbareddys. In connection with this incident, the police have made heavy security at the houses of both the leaders. Section 144 has been imposed in Palnadu district. On the otherhand in Palnadu district, tdp leaders attacked the ycp leaders of Machavaram mandal. ycp Machavaram mandal president Chaudhary Singarayya Daram Lakshmireddy was attacked by tdp leaders. An attack was committed in an auto near Machavaram Tehsildar's office. In this incident, both the ycp leaders were seriously injuredand the vehicle was destroyed. The victim was shifted to a private hospital in Pudigalla.
