Voting for the fourth phase of lok sabha elections is going on in the country on Monday. The first phase of voting is taking place in jharkhand today, under which people will exercise their franchise on four seats. 45 candidates are in the fray for these four seats. 7,595 polling stations have been set up in four lok sabha seats. In this, 6956 polling stations have been made in rural areas and 639 in urban areas. A total of 64 lakh 58 thousand 36 voters will vote. Voting has started at 7 am and will continue till 5 pm.

7595 polling stations have been set up in four lok sabha seats. Of those, 579 polling stations are being operated entirely by women. This includes 210 polling stations in Khunti, 122 in Singhbhum, 115 in Lohardaga and 72 in Palamu. Only women have been deployed at these polling booths. Apart from this, the responsibility of 7 booths will be in the hands of youth and the responsibility of 14 polling booths will be in the hands of disabled people.

Number of male voters is more in Palamu lok sabha seat

Palamu, a scheduled caste seat, has the highest number of male voters, while in Singhbhum, Khunti and Lohardaga, the number of female voters is more than males. Today, during voting on four lok sabha seats, it may remain cloudy in Lohardaga and Khunti. Whereas in Singhbhum the maximum temperature can be 37 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, along with being partly cloudy, the temperature can go up to 41 to 42 degrees Celsius, which means people will have to data-face the heat.

Let us tell you that today in the fourth phase of lok sabha elections, voting is taking place for 96 lok sabha seats in 10 states and union territories. In the fourth phase, 70 percent of the election season will end today. In this fourth phase, voters will decide the fate of 1717 candidates including five central candidates, two former cricketers and one actor.
