Jodhpur Railway Division earned Rs 2247 crore!!!

Jodhpur division of North Western Railway has set new dimensions with record annual earning of Rs 2,247 crore. DRM Pankaj Kumar Singh said that jodhpur division has performed remarkably in all areas and has earned revenue of Rs 2247.86 crore from all the heads till date. This is 3.19 percent more than last year's income of Rs 2,177 crore. If we assess the annual earnings of jodhpur division from the point of view of PEI parameter, the division spent 71.79 paise to earn one rupee, that is, after adequate expenditure in all posts, 28.11 paise has been saved for every one rupee.

What did DRM say?

DRM jodhpur Pankaj Kumar Singh further said that from the point of view of earning, jodhpur division has achieved its main targets. Along with this, jodhpur Railway Board has also made positive efforts to speed up important works like rail doubling, electrification, complete development of railway stations under Amrit Station Scheme in the direction of structural modernization of Railways.

Senior Divisional Finance Manager vikram Saini said that jodhpur division has received a revenue of Rs 2,247 crore during the financial year 2023-24. In this, revenue of Rs 1210.02 has been obtained from freight. The revenue includes Rs 741.15 crore from passengers, Rs 97.74 crore from coaching items and Rs 202.28 crore from other sources. He said that the revenue earned from other sources of Rs 202.28 crore is the highest till date in the history of jodhpur division. DRM Pankaj Kumar Singh says that the officers and employees of jodhpur Railway Division have taken the division to great heights by working with dedication and honesty. We have contributed to the development of indian Railways by earning significant revenue from freight loading, passengers, coaching, ticket checking, parcels and other sources. Also, in the coming time, there will be complete focus on upgrading and maintenance of passenger facilities.
