Delhi's Rouse Avenue court has extended the judicial custody of chief minister arvind kejriwal for 13 more days. That is, according to this decision of the lower court, cm kejriwal will have to stay in tihar jail till May 20. For information, let us tell you that ED had arrested chief minister kejriwal on march 21 in the delhi Excise Policy case. After this, the court sent him to tihar jail in judicial custody on 1 april 2024.

Earlier on march 23, Rouse Avenue court had extended the custody of cm kejriwal till May 7 in the alleged money laundering case related to delhi Liquor Policy case. During that time, cm kejriwal was presented in the court through video conferencing.

In fact, ED claims that corruption has taken place on a large scale in preparing Delhi's excise policy. ED presented cm arvind kejriwal as the main accused in this case. In the same case, sanjay singh was also arrested along with former deputy cm Manish Sisodia. At present, sanjay singh is out on bail.

ED had also claimed that the money collected in the liquor policy case was used by the aam aadmi party in the goa Assembly elections. Apart from this, this money was used in many other places also. However, all the allegations were termed as baseless by AAP. At the same time, it was also said on behalf of aam aadmi party that cm arvind kejriwal has been arrested to stop him from campaigning in the lok sabha elections. At the same time, aam aadmi party had accused bjp that they are trying to implicate cm arvind kejriwal out of revenge.
