Amity university students made aware about voting!!!

Gurugram ADC hitesh Kumar meena addressed the students who became new voters at Amity university on Thursday. He said that the voting percentage in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections was more than 67 percent, which now the target is to cross 75. For this, the youth have to become aware and participate in voting themselves and also make their family and surrounding people aware about it. hitesh Kumar meena said that continuous efforts are being made by the district administration to increase the voting percentage. In this motivational program organized under the SVEEP campaign, the ADC said that about 800 students of this university have got the right to vote.

'The opportunity to choose the best should not be lost'

The ADC said that it is expected that not a single voter will remain absent from his booth on the day of polling and will come after casting his vote. He said that in a democratic system, voting rights decide who will become your public representative and which party you want to form the government in the country. The great democratic system of our country has given the power to form the government to a common citizen, which is very important. Therefore, we should not lose the opportunity to think carefully about all the candidates and choose the best one. hitesh Kumar meena said that these representatives sit in the parliament and decide policies for the welfare of the people of our country. If we want the development of our area and the environment around us, then we must vote.

Gifts given to the winning students

ADC hitesh Kumar meena said that it is easy to find shortcomings or criticize any institution or system, but it is very difficult to improve it as per your wish. This is the only opportunity of election, by participating in which we can take forward the process of social reform. On this occasion, a quiz competition in the name of 'Kaun Banega Jaagar Voter' was also organized and the winning students were presented with gifts.
