As the elections draw near, Koladi, Andhra Pradesh, finds itself immersed in an intense political battleground, with all eyes now fixed on the pithapuram constituency. With just two weeks remaining until the elections, political parties are intensifying their efforts to secure victory. The Yuvajana Shramika Rythu congress Party (YSRCP) is striving to retain power, while opposition parties are determined to unseat Jaganmohan reddy and assume control.

Of particular interest is the pithapuram constituency, where Janasena, led by Pawan Kalyan, is making a significant bid for victory after consecutive losses in previous elections. Pawan Kalyan's relentless campaigning reflects his strong desire to secure a seat in the legislative assembly this time, elevating the excitement surrounding Pithapuram.

However, Vanga Geeta, the incumbent kakinada MP, presents a formidable challenge as she enters the electoral fray from the ruling party. Her previous victory as an mla from pithapuram and her local roots position her as a strong contender in the constituency. Some analysts argue that Pawan Kalyan's success may hinge on the support of tdp leader Verma, although questions arise regarding the sustainability of his charisma in securing votes.

In terms of demographics, the constituency's 90,000-strong elderly population is seen as a potential advantage for Vanga Geeta, while pawan kalyan may struggle to capture the youth vote. Additionally, analysts predict a significant disparity in Kapula votes due to age differences, potentially favouring Vanga Geeta. The YSRCP, meanwhile, aims to secure a majority of votes from SCs and BCs to bolster its electoral prospects.

While victory remains the ultimate goal for the YSRCP, prevailing sentiment suggests a close contest in pithapuram, with expectations leaning slightly towards a favourable outcome for the YSRCP candidate. As the electoral battle intensifies, pithapuram emerges as a critical battleground, symbolizing the broader struggle for political dominance in Andhra Pradesh.
