General elections polarized, problem is that no issue is longevity…

Election season is going on in India. Two phases of voting have been completed in the lok sabha elections. Many analysts say that voters appeared indifferent even in the second phase of voting. This can be seen from any angle like scorching heat, wedding season and any other reason or dissatisfaction of voters. There were less votes in the first phase of voting. After that, some harshness was seen in PM Modi's election speeches. The opposition gave it a polarization angle. These days, the heat has increased in India, be it due to weather or election statements, but that heat could not be seen in the voting. Many parties also tried to heat up the election campaign. Some of its effect was also visible in the second phase of elections.

Summer is not complete, but elections are fun

There has not been a complete surge in voting, but a slight impact has definitely been seen. 75 percent votes were cast in Chhattisgarh. In rajasthan, 50 percent voting took place in the first phase, now it has reached 64 percent voting. There has been an increase in vote percentage in rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. This time also the vote percentage has remained low in the states of bihar and Uttar Pradesh, which give more seats in the lok sabha of the country. Together, there are a total of 120 lok sabha seats from both the places. In bihar, voting was 57 percent and in UP, voting was around 55 percent.

The voting percentage which was seen decreasing in the first phase was once again seen falling in the second phase in UP and Bihar. One reason for this could also be that many popular candidates are in the electoral fray in both the states of rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. Due to that the percentage of votes may have increased, but it would not be correct to say that this happened only for one reason.
