It is important to understand the great festival of democracy...

Although more than 60 percent voting took place for a total of 102 constituencies in the first phase, bihar, the most politically conscious state, saw less voting than Tripura, West Bengal, Manipur, Meghalaya, Assam, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, rajasthan and tamil Nadu. It is an alarm bell. Even though there was an increase in the voting in the second phase compared to the first phase (only 48 percent voting took place in the first phase, 58 percent in the second phase), but in five seats of this phase - Kishanganj, Katihar, Purnia, bhagalpur and Banka. - There has also been a decrease of about five percent in the voting for 2019. Despite all the efforts of the election Commission, if the voters are indifferent then it means that the credibility of the leaders has ended. In UP too, only about 55 percent voting took place in the second phase on eight seats.

The agricultural system of bihar has not been free from the influence of semi-feudal elements. Agricultural laborers and small farmers are still tied to the thread of traditional debt. Landowners and big farmers are not interested in modern methods of farming. After the fourth general election, the winds of political-social change blew, but a new elite class also emerged which is skilled in creating a pretense of welfare of the landless. An elite middle class that has formed among the farmers has started looking for new ways to demonstrate power to participate in power. This class is not trying to improve the economic condition.

When farmers got organized under the leadership of Chaudhary charan singh in Uttar Pradesh, not only was the Zamindari system abolished but rural life also got a new direction. Choudhary Saheb was a supporter of multi-cropping farming. In bihar, backward class leaders talked a lot about land reforms, but they could not become the vehicles of socio-economic change. That's why the common people are feeling cheated.
