Dry weather is likely to prevail in tamil Nadu, Puduwai and Karaikal from today till 1st.According to the Meteorological Department, rain is likely at a couple of places in tamil Nadu and puducherry due to the low atmospheric circulation.In this regard, a press release issued by the chennai Meteorological Department said: An atmospheric circulation is prevailing over the Kumari sea region. Dry weather is likely to prevail in tamil Nadu, Puduwai and Karaikal from today till 1st. Light to moderate rain may occur at one or two places in Western Ghats districts and adjoining North tamil Nadu interior districts on 2nd. Other districts of tamil Nadu, Puduwai and Karaikal may experience dry weather. Light to moderate rain may occur at a couple of places in tamil Nadu, Puduvai, and Karaikal areas on 3rd.Maximum temperature forecast for the next five days:From today to the 1st, the maximum temperature may gradually rise up to 2° Celsius in the next five days in the interior districts of tamil Nadu. The maximum temperature in the interior districts of North tamil Nadu is likely to be 3°-5° Celsius above normal during the next five days. The maximum temperature is likely to be 39°-42°C at a few places in North tamil Nadu interior districts, 35°-39°C in other districts of tamil Nadu, Puduwai and Karaikal.Humidity:Humidity is likely to be 30-50% in plains during afternoon, 40-75% at other times and 50-80% in coastal areas from today to 1st.Heat Wave Precautions:In the next five days from today to the 1st, there may be a heat wave in one or two places in the inner districts of North tamil Nadu. In other districts of tamil Nadu, Puduwai and Karaikal regions may experience discomfort at one or two places during high temperature and high humidity.Weather Forecast for chennai and Suburbs:The sky will remain partly cloudy for the next 48 hours. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 36-37°C and the minimum temperature is likely to be around 27-28°C. In this case, it is noteworthy that no warning was given to the fishermen.
