Voting on these seats today

In the second phase, voting is being held today in Jodhpur, Barmer, Pali, Jalore, Rajsamand, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Banswara, Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Jhalawar-Baran seats. A total of 152 candidates are in the fray for these seats. A total of 20 lakh 30 thousand 525 voters will vote in Jhalawar-Baran parliamentary constituency. These include 10 lahks 42 thousand 90 male voters, 9 lahks 88 thousand 409 female voters, and 16 third gender voters. 2187 polling stations have been set up here. Of these, there are 1151 polling stations in Jhalawar and 1036 in Baran.

It is known that senior bjp leader in rajasthan vasundhara raje became mp from Jhalawar in the year 1989 and was elected to this post five consecutive times. After this, in the year 2004, his son dushyant singh became mp from here and has been mp for four consecutive terms.
