Let us tell you that Brij Sharma is a resident of Karnal, haryana and has also been the National General Secretary of JJP. Brij Sharma was contesting from Assandh in the 2019 haryana assembly elections. Brij Sharma is considered close to JJP leader and former deputy chief minister of the state Dushyant Chautala. On Brij Sharma becoming the haryana State President, Dushyant Chautala has also congratulated him by posting on social media site X. It is noteworthy that in the lok sabha elections being held in the country, JJP is alone in the fray in Haryana. After the 2019 haryana assembly elections, JJP joined hands with bjp and formed the government in the state. A few months ago this year, JJP's alliance with bjp was broken. After this, both the parties had decided to contest the lok sabha elections alone.
