A person has been detained from haryana in connection with the firing outside the residence of bollywood actor salman Khan. police gave this information on Wednesday. In this regard, an officer said that the suspect is related to one of the two arrested accused and they were in constant contact before and after the incident. He said that the detained person is suspected of taking instructions from Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta, arrested for firing at Khan's residence in the Bandra area here on Sunday, were giving detailed information about their activities to the detained suspect, and the call was made through the internet, the official said. He said that after the incident, Pal and Gupta fled from mumbai towards Bhuj and near surat they changed the SIM card of the mobile phone which they were using for communication.

According to officials, during technical surveillance, it came to notice that they used to repeatedly switch off their mobile phones to confuse the police. But the number he called was always the same. The officer said the suspect was brought to mumbai after being caught in Haryana. He said that he is being interrogated but he has not been arrested yet in the case.

Police had earlier claimed that Pal and Gupta were paid around Rs 1 lakh to carry out the firing at Salman's residence and were promised more money after the work was completed
