All the political parties are making various promises to the public through their manifestos. But some promises are common which almost every party is giving priority to in its agenda. 26 political parties are unitedly contesting the elections against the Modi government. Congress's promise on these issues

Congress is the largest party of the indian Alliance. congress has named its manifesto 'Nyayapatra'. congress has guaranteed to give the first job to the youth. congress says that if their government comes to power, a law will be made for the youth under which every diploma holder or graduate student below 25 years of age will be given a job in a private or government company. During this period, the student will be given an honorarium of Rs 1 lakh every year. Besides, congress has also made a big claim to end the Agneepath scheme. If their government is formed, general recruitment will be started in the Army, Navy, air Force, and Coast Guard. Apart from this, 30 lakh job posts in the central government will be filled. By doubling the number of Anganwadi workers, 14 lakh additional job opportunities will be created. The party has also promised to increase the fixed limit of 50 percent reservation for SC, ST, and OBC by amending the Constitution.

At the same time, congress has talked about starting Mahalaxmi Yojana for women. Under this scheme, a poor indian family will be given one lakh rupees every year unconditionally. This amount will be transferred directly to the account of the oldest woman in the family. Apart from this, congress has said that half of the central government jobs will be reserved for women from the year 2025. Also, the laws made against women will be strictly implemented.

For farmers, congress has promised to provide a legal guarantee on MSP as per the recommendations of the swaminathan Commission. MSP will be transferred directly to the bank account. Production of dairy and poultry will be doubled within five years. Agricultural colleges and veterinary colleges will be built in every district.
