Ahead of the lok sabha elections, former IPS officer Roop Singh Meena, retired air Commodore, and 233 other people from various political parties and social organizations joined the bjp on sunday (April 14) in Rajasthan. According to a statement issued by bjp, a total of 235 people including several political parties, social organizations, and retired administrative officers have taken membership in the party. During this, senior leaders of the state unit got the new workers to take membership in the BJP.

Those who joined the party included former bjp rebel candidate from Gangapur City C L Saini, retired IPS officer Roop Singh Meena, retired air Commodore ajay Singhal, Tamrvati Rajput Sabha state president Shivraj Singh and retired DLB deputy director Rupesh Kant. During this, Joining Committee convenor Arun Chaturvedi, former minister Prabhu Lal Saini, and bjp state vice president Narayan Panchariya were present.

Voting will take place in two phases

According to the program announced by the election commission regarding the lok sabha elections, elections will be held in two phases for 25 seats in Rajasthan. Voting will take place on 12 lok sabha seats in the first phase, which will take place on april 19. Voting will be held on 13 seats on april 26.

In the first phase, voting will be held in Ganganagar, Bikaner, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, jaipur Rural, jaipur, Alwar, Bharatpur, Karauli-Dholpur, Dausa and Nagaur districts. Whereas in the second phase, voting will be held in Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, Ajmer, Pali, Jodhpur, Barmer, Jalore, Udaipur, Banswara, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Kota and Jhalawar-Baran.
