Today is the last day to submit nomination forms for the second phase of the lok sabha elections. In the second phase, 73 nomination forms have been submitted by 54 candidates on seven lok sabha seats of madhya pradesh from april 28 to april 3. According to Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan, as per the election schedule of lok sabha elections, the process of filing nomination papers for the second phase is going on. On Wednesday, the fourth day of filing nominations for the second phase, 33 candidates submitted 46 nomination papers. Since march 28 till now, 73 names have been submitted by 54 candidates. Direction papers have been filed.


Chief Electoral Officer Rajan has said that on april 3, five nomination papers were submitted by three candidates in lok sabha parliamentary constituency Tikamgarh, while in lok sabha parliamentary constituency Damoh, eight nomination papers were submitted by seven candidates, and 11 nomination papers were submitted by seven candidates for Khajuraho seat. letters, 7 nomination letters by 3 candidates for the Satna seat, 7 nomination letters by 5 candidates in lok sabha parliamentary constituency Rewa, 7 nomination letters by 5 candidates in lok sabha parliamentary constituency Betul, and 2 nomination letters by two candidates in lok sabha parliamentary constituency Betul.


Names can be withdrawn till 8th April

Chief Electoral Officer Rajan said that today the last date for filing nomination papers is april 4. The nomination papers will be scrutinized on april 5. Candidates who have filled nomination papers will be able to withdraw their names till april 8. Voting for the second phase will be held on april 26. Counting of votes for all phases of voting will take place on june 4.
