Congress candidate and national spokesperson Gaurav Vallabh, who contested the assembly elections on a congress ticket from udaipur, resigned from the Congress. Resigning from the congress, Gaurav Vallabh said, "I am not able to feel comfortable with the directionless manner in which the congress Party is moving forward today. Therefore, I am resigning from all posts and primary membership of the congress Party."
