More than 2 lakh dairy farmers across the state have formed milk production cooperatives and supply milk to the government-run Vijaya Dairy every day. BRS government used to pay the bills to the dairy farmers once every 15 days. But since the congress government came to power, the bills have not been paid on time, said former minister Harish Rao. 45 days of milk bills are pending. The government has to pay about 80 crore rupees to the dairy farmers for 45 days. Dairy farmers bought cattle by taking loans from banks, women's associations, and moneylenders through various means. Debts should be settled regularly.

Equipment such as cattle feed, mandrel mixer, calcium, medicines, etc. also have to be purchased daily. All those rearing dairy cattle are poor and middle-class people. harish rao said that every day is difficult. He said that they are facing many difficulties due to the government not paying bills on time. The situation is that even interest cannot be paid on the loan taken. Therefore, former minister harish rao is demanding the government to immediately respond and pay the bills every 15 days, like the BRS government paid, and to release the pending bills of Rs.80 crores at once.
