Along with elections for four lok sabha seats in the state, dates for by-elections for six assembly seats have also been announced. bharatiya janata party has declared its candidates from all four lok sabha constituencies, but the churning over the candidates is still going on in Congress.

Himachal congress President Pratibha Singh is currently the mp from Mandi parliamentary constituency. He has asked the high command not to make himself a candidate in the lok sabha elections. Pratibha Singh wants that she should not be limited to Mandi parliamentary constituency. He should campaign in the by-elections along with the lok sabha elections in the entire state.
