Holi celebrated in Gorakhpur, cm Yogi spread colors!!!


While the entire country has celebrated holi on 25th March, holi is being celebrated in Gorakhpur on 26th March. The joy of holi is visible in Gorakhpur on Tuesday. chief minister Yogi Adityanath on tuesday flagged off the procession of Lord narasimha from Ghantaghar after the puja. On this occasion, he also played holi with flowers and Abir-Gulal with the people of Gorakhpur. Social harmony is also visible here on the day of Holi.

Just behind the clock tower is the white-colored Jama Masjid. So, hindi Bazaar and urdu Bazaar written on the boards of shops side by side attract people's attention. After the aarti, chief minister Yogi Adityanath flagged off the procession taken out by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh at the clock tower of Gorakhpur. Before this, he played holi with people with flowers and Abir-Gulal.

The procession was started in 1944

Since 1944, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh preacher Nanaji Deshmukh had started the procession of Lord narasimha on holi to maintain social harmony and end the ruckus. After Brahmalin Mahant Digvijaynath, Brahmalin Mahant Avednath and now chief minister Yogi Adityanath have been following this tradition for the last 26 years as Gorakshpeethadhishwar.

Where chief minister Yogi Adityanath is performing aarti on the stage. So right behind, the white shining ramparts of Jama Masjid are visible. Along with this, hindi Bazaar is seen written on one side of the shop boards and urdu Bazaar is written on the other. It attracts people's attention. Shopkeepers and traders who follow the Hindu religion write hindi Bazaar on the boards of shops and establishments at Ghantaghar Chowk.
