BJP again did not give tickets to 9 MPs in UP…

bharatiya janata party (BJP) on sunday released the list of 13 candidates from Uttar Pradesh for the upcoming lok sabha elections. While the party has given a second chance to former Union minister Maneka gandhi from Sultanpur, it has canceled the ticket of her son and Pilibhit mp Varun gandhi and has fielded Jitin prasad in his place. This is the fifth list of the ruling bjp at the Centre. However, after declaring 51 candidates in the first list, the party did not announce any candidate for the state in the remaining three lists.

A total of 13 candidates from Uttar Pradesh have been declared in the fifth list, in which the party has not given a chance to its nine sitting MPs. The nine MPs whose tickets have been canceled by the party include ghaziabad mp and Union minister (Retired General) VK Singh, Pilibhit mp Varun gandhi, Santosh Gangwar from Bareilly, satyadev Pachauri from Kanpur, Dr. Sanghamitra, daughter of former minister Swami prasad Maurya from Badaun. Maurya, upendra Singh Rawat of Barabanki, hathras (reserved) mp Rajveer Singh Diler, bahraich (reserved) mp Akshay Lal Gaur and meerut mp Rajendra Aggarwal are included.

Arun Govil of Ramayan gets a chance from Meerut.

In meerut, the party has made cine actor Arun Govil, who played the role of Lord ram in the Ramayana serial, a candidate in place of Rajendra Agarwal, while in Barabanki, district Panchayat President Rajrani Rawat has been made a candidate in place of the current mp upendra Singh Rawat, who was declared in the first list. An allegedly obscene video of upendra Rawat was made public on social media, after which he refused to contest the elections.

Varun gandhi has been vocal against his party and government since the introduction of the three agricultural laws of the Centre. However, later the government withdrew these laws. He raised his voice against the bjp on many issues including employment and health. However, the party expressed confidence in his mother Maneka gandhi, who has been given the ticket again from Sultanpur. Both General VK Singh and satyadev Pachauri had on sunday expressed their reluctance to contest the 2024 elections.
