bharatiya janata party (BJP) has made former minister Chhatrapal Gangwar its lok sabha candidate from Bareilly. Current mp Santosh Gangwar has been mp 8 times and his ticket has been cut due to his increasing age. Due to the presence of majority number of Kurmi voters in Bareilly lok sabha, the party has fielded a Kurmi leader keeping in mind the caste equation. Santosh Gangwar's politics finally came to an end in Bareilly. There was opposition to Santosh Gangwar for a long time. Opposition to Santosh had started from within also. This was the reason why the party has given a ticket to Chharpal Gangwar in his place. Chhatrapal Gangwar has been mla twice. Due to his association with the Sangh, Chhatrapal Gangwar received the blessings of the party's high command.

Chhatrapal Gangwar had been mla in 2007 and 2017. In the assembly elections held in 2022, he had to data-face defeat despite the wave of BJP. Ataur Rehman of the Samajwadi party had won by defeating Chhatrapal Gangwar. Chhatrapal Gangwar became Revenue minister in the yogi government. Chhatrapal Gangwar lives in Baheri assembly. Baheri assembly comes in Pilibhit Lok Sabha.

Chhatrapal Gangwar, born on 20 january 1956, is an MA in economics and has studied B.Ed. Dhaniram was the lecturer in Inter college from 1979-2009 and also became the Principal in 2009. He was the district campaigner of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh from 1985 to 1987. Contested assembly elections from bjp in 2007-2012 and became MLA. In 2012, he again contested elections from bjp and lost by a margin of 18 votes. In 2017, he contested elections on a bjp ticket and won by 43,800 votes. Let us tell you that bjp has announced the names of 13 candidates on its list. Whereas names of 51 candidates were announced in the first list. The party has changed the candidate from the Barabanki seat.
