Preparations for peaceful voting in elections across the country

Currently after the announcement of the dates by the election commission across the country, the focus is on preparations for the lok sabha elections. BJP's gajendra singh shekhawat is contesting against congress candidate karan Singh Uchiyarda on jodhpur lok sabha seat. Along with the activism of political parties, administrative preparations are also being made in full swing. jodhpur district collector and election Officer Gaurav Aggarwal, while talking exclusively to ABP News, said that there are a total of 10 assembly seats in jodhpur district and preparations are being made on all of them.

Meanwhile district election Officer Gaurav Aggarwal said that lok sabha elections 2024 have been notified by the election Commission. Now we will conduct voting in a fair and peaceful manner without fear and intimidation. He appealed to maximum number of people to vote.

There are 10 assembly constituencies in jodhpur, in which there are about 27.59 lakh voters who can exercise their franchise. The ratio of men to women in this lok sabha election is 915. Which was 912 in the assembly elections. There are approximately 22 thousand disabled voters. Old people and disabled people who cannot come to the polling station. For them, home voting is being introduced for the first time in the lok sabha elections. About 3800 voters will exercise their franchise through home voting.
