Nominations for Lok Sabha Elections will be done till 27th March

Reportedly the process of the first phase of lok sabha elections has started in Rajasthan. On the first day, wednesday (20 March), two nominations were filed for both the seats of Jaipur. Voting will be held for a total of 12 seats in the first phase. The interesting update is that nominations will not be possible on 23, 24 and 25 March.

Meanwhile Chief Electoral Officer praveen Gupta said that on the first day, one candidate each for jaipur and jaipur Rural lok sabha constituencies has submitted his nomination papers. There are 12 seats in the first phase and a total of 13 seats in the second phase. In the last two lok sabha elections in Rajasthan, bjp has won all the seats. This time no big data-face has filed nomination yet.

Moreover shashank submitted his nomination papers as an independent candidate for jaipur lok sabha constituency. At the same time, Right to Recall party candidate Aditya Prakash Sharma has presented his name for jaipur Rural lok sabha constituency. The Chief Electoral Officer said that nominations for jaipur and jaipur Rural lok sabha constituencies can be made till march 27. Nominations will not be possible on march 23, march 24 and march 25 due to them being government holidays. The nomination papers will be reviewed on march 28, 2024. At the same time, nomination papers can be withdrawn till march 30, 2024. Voting for the first phase will be held on april 19 and counting of votes will be done on june 4. Today the nomination process is going on. Whereas, congress and bjp have not announced candidates for Jaipur.
