Meanwhile Sita Soren, wife of late Durga Soren, took membership of the party in the presence of bjp general secretary Vinod Tawde and jharkhand election in-charge Laxmikant Bajpai. It was alleged that bjp uses institutions like cbi (Central Bureau of Investigation) and ED (Enforcement Directorate) to intimidate opposition leaders.

Moreover jharkhand bjp president said, "Not everyone is hemant Soren, who can data-face such forces fearlessly." Tawde said that Sita Soren's joining bjp will have an impact on the elections, especially those to be held later this year. Will be felt in the assembly elections.
