Currently notification of the election schedule for the first phase of lok sabha general elections 2024 was released in rajasthan yesterday (20 March). The election commission has issued orders for this. Public notice will be issued by all returning officers. Chief Electoral Officer in jaipur, praveen Gupta said that in the first phase, voting will be held in 12 lok sabha constituencies Ganganagar, Bikaner, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, jaipur Rural, jaipur, Alwar, Bharatpur, Karauli-Dholpur, Dausa and Nagaur on april 19.

Perhaps the work of filing nominations will start with the release of the notification and nominations can be filed till march 27. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be held on march 28. The names can be withdrawn till march 30 and the counting of votes will take place on june 4. Chief Electoral Officer praveen Gupta said that while filing nomination for lok sabha General elections 2024, the general candidate will have to give a security deposit of Rs 25 thousand. Whereas candidates belonging to scheduled caste and Scheduled Tribe will have to deposit a security amount of Rs 12 thousand 500.

Moreover a total of five people, including four along with the candidates who came to fill the nomination, will be able to enter the Returning Officer (RO) room. Only three vehicles in the convoy of the person arriving to file nomination will be allowed to enter within 100 meters of the RO office. The process of filling nomination will start at 11 am and will continue till 3 pm.

No person will be allowed to enter the room or bring documents after 3 pm. RO should ensure complete compliance with these instructions of the election commission of India. ROs should remain present in their office throughout the stipulated period of filing nominations and videography of the entire process will also be done.
