According to sources the narendra modi government at the Center has issued the notification of the Citizenship Amendment Act. While the leaders of the ruling party are welcoming this decision, the opposition is attacking it. Before the lok sabha elections, there is a political turmoil over CAA. The leaders of the ruling party are busy in announcing the historic decision of the Central Government. uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami's statement on caa has also come out. He expressed gratitude to prime minister narendra modi and home minister amit Shah.

Meanwhile chief minister Dhami wrote on social media platform “He further said that hearty gratitude to prime minister Modi and home minister amit shah for this historic decision! chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that if Modi is there then it is possible. prime minister Modi's step shows his strong will in the national interest. He expressed hope that similar decisions will be taken to strengthen the country in the third term of PM Modi.

It is noteworthy that in his election speeches, home minister amit shah had hinted at the implementation of CAA. After getting the approval of the President in 2019, the citizenship amendment act was made. Today on monday (March 11), the central government issued a notification and implemented the citizenship amendment act across the country. Under the citizenship amendment act, there is a provision to give indian citizenship to non-Hindus coming from Pakistan, bangladesh and Afghanistan.
