Ajit Pawar's NCP wants to contest elections on 9 seats
Reportedly in view of the upcoming lok sabha elections 2024, talks have been going on for a long time regarding seat sharing in the Grand Alliance. However, due to lack of consensus among the three parties, the candidates have not been announced yet. Meanwhile, bjp has released its candidate list of 20 names. However, the ajit pawar faction demands that they be given two more seats i.e. a total of 9 seats. Out of these, candidates have also been decided for 6 seats.
Perhaps the seats where candidates from ncp Ajit faction are expected to be confirmed include Raigarh, Baramati, Shirur, Satara, Dharashiv and Parbhani. If the Satara seat goes to ncp, then udayanraje bhosale will not be able to contest elections from BJP.
