There was a direct fight between Ramveer Upadhyay's wife seema Upadhyay as BSP candidate and congress candidate raj Babbar. raj babbar gave a tough fight to seema Upadhyay but the public made BSP candidate seema Upadhyay the Fatehpur Sikri chieftain. In this tough election battle, BSP's seema Upadhyay won by getting 30.1 percent votes, while Congress's raj babbar came second by getting 28.7 percent votes. In the 2009 lok sabha elections, the bjp candidate got 22 percent votes and the SP candidate got about 15 percent votes.
BJP won the 2014 elections
The people of Fatehpur Sikri turned the tables in the 2014 lok sabha elections and the victory in 2014 was tied to the BJP. In the 2014 elections, bjp fielded Chaudhary Babulal, while BSP once again fielded seema Upadhyay by giving ticket, but in a democracy, the power lies in the hands of the people. The people of Fatehpuri Sikri gave a lot of love to bjp candidate Chaudhary Babulal in 2014 and BJP's Chaudhary Babulal reached the house by giving about 44 percent votes, whereas BSP's seema Upadhyay got about 26 percent votes and had to data-face defeat.

bjp retained its hold on Fatehpur Sikri lok sabha seat in 2019. In the 2019 lok sabha elections, bjp canceled the ticket of its mp and made bjp leader Rajkumar Chahar its candidate. In the 2019 lok sabha elections, bjp fielded Rajkumar Chahar. congress again gave a chance to cinema actor raj babbar and fielded him in the election. The same SP gave ticket to BSP alliance candidate Shri Bhagwan Sharma alias Guddu Pandit but the victory went to BJP.
