bjp has released the first list of candidates for the lok sabha elections. The party has fielded famous singer Pawan Singh from asansol lok sabha seat of West Bengal, but Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh has refused to contest the elections from Asansol. After which, senior congress party leader and deputy leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha, Pramod Tiwari, has taken a dig at bjp over Bhojpuri actor and singer Pawan Singh's refusal to contest the lok sabha elections.

Pramod Tiwari has said that after the refusal of first cricketer gautam Gambhir, then minister of State for Finance jayant sinha and now Bhojpuri actor Pawan Singh, it has become clear that bjp will have to data-face a crushing defeat in the lok sabha elections. According to him, when any ship starts sinking, the people on board start jumping and running away.

Pramod Tiwari took a jibe at BJP

Pramod Tiwari said that it is the same with bjp these days. His image among the public is very bad. There is tremendous anger among the people against the government regarding issues like inflation and unemployment. From gautam Gambhir and jayant sinha to Pawan Singh have realized that bjp is going to be in bad shape in this election. They will have to data-face defeat, that is why people are refusing to contest elections. According to him, refusal of bjp leaders to contest elections will become a big issue for the opposition in the lok sabha elections.
