Senior congress leader and former governor of Uttar Pradesh Aziz Qureshi has passed away. He was ill for several days. He breathed his last at Apollo Bhopal. Samajwadi party leader Amik Jamai gave this information. He posted on 'X' and said that Aziz Qureshi died on march 1. He breathed his last at 10:30 am in Apollo Bhopal. He will be laid to rest today at 8:30 pm in Bhopal.

Aziz Qureshi was born on 24 april 1940 in Bhopal. Aziz Qureshi had also been the cabinet minister of MP. Apart from this, he was also an mp from Satna. He was the governor of uttarakhand from 2012 to 2015. Apart from this, he was also appointed as the governor (additional charge) of Uttar Pradesh for one month. He served as the 15th governor of Mizoram from january to march 2015. After leaving the post of governor, he was also appointed Chairman of mp Urdu Academy by the government of madhya pradesh on 24 january 2020.
