One Country One Election Plan in 2029: Law Commission Recommends to Central Govt!
It has been reported that the Law Commission is going to recommend the Union government to implement the One Country One election Scheme in 2029In India, elections are held separately for the lok sabha and the state legislatures. Apart from this, separate elections are held for local bodies. However, the talk of one country holding one election has intensified after the bjp came to power. One Country One election means holding one election for both parliament and Legislative Assembly.
If the same country holds a single election, people will have to cast three votes at the same time. One for the state legislature, another for the parliament and another for the local bodies.
