AIIMS issued WhatsApp number - Aggrieved patients should complain
The Delhi-based All india Institute of Medical Sciences has taken a major step after cases of AIIMS employees demanding bribes and harassing patients and their attendants came to light from time to time. Actually, AIIMS administration has issued a whatsapp number to check bribery employees. Through this, an appeal has been made to the patients and attendants to complain through whatsapp about those employees who demand bribe for any work or harass the patients. AIIMS administration will take strict action against such employees after receiving the complaint.
Delhi AIIMS has said that this step has been taken to control the racketeering of unauthorized persons exploiting patients. AIIMS administration has appealed to the patients that they can send complaints and evidence related to such unauthorized people and personnel on whatsapp number. The whatsapp number will be operational by the end of February.

M Srinivas, director of All india Medical Sciences, during his interactions with patients and their relatives, had found that brokers and agents roaming around the AIIMS campus pretended to supply medicines to some of them or help in testing outside AIIMS, or they They rob by getting referred to other hospitals for faster recovery.
