After Sharad Pawar, Rahul Gandhi talked to Uddhav Thackeray

Amidst the preparations for the lok sabha elections, talks seem to be brewing in maharashtra regarding sheet sharing. Meanwhile, out of 48 lok sabha seats in maharashtra, an agreement has been reached on 38 seats between congress, Sharad Pawar's ncp, uddhav Thackeray's shiv sena and Prakash Ambedkar's Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi, but the issue is stuck on 9 seats.

This is coming to light at a time when today congress leader rahul gandhi spoke on phone to shiv sena (UBT) leader uddhav thackeray and ncp Chief Sharad Pawar. The issue of sheet sharing was discussed between the three leaders in view of the general elections. There is a meeting of Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) on 27th february regarding seat sharing. MVA leaders will try to finalize the formula for seat sharing by 28th February.

How many seats does Congress-Shiv Sena (UBT) want?

Sources told ABP news that congress wants to contest elections on 3 out of 6 lok sabha seats in Mumbai. These three seats are mumbai North West, mumbai North Central and mumbai South Central. uddhav Thackeray's shiv sena wants to field its candidates on four seats. However, it is not yet clear which four lok sabha seats of mumbai shiv sena (UBT) wants. There is an alliance between Samajwadi party and congress in Uttar Pradesh, the state with the highest number of lok sabha seats in the country. In UP, which has 80 lok sabha seats, congress has agreed to contest elections on 17 seats.
