SP gives Lok Sabha ticket to Iqra Hasan from Kairana seat
SP released the list of five candidates for the lok sabha elections on tuesday (20 February). In this, Iqra Hasan has been given ticket from Kairana lok sabha seat. This is the same seat on which there was a tussle between SP and Jayant Choudhary's ILD. Actually, SP had fielded Nahid Hasan from Kairana assembly in 2022.
Who is Iqra Hassan?
Iqra Hasan has been active in the politics of Kairana region for nine years. She is of former mp Tabassum Hasan. SP mla from Kairana Nahid Hasan is his elder brother. Iqra Hasan has obtained law education from the university of London. He has done LLM from there.
Ticket to which candidate from which seat?
Samajwadi party has given ticket to Surendra Singh patel from varanasi seat. The country's prime minister Narendra Modi is the mp from this seat. Senior party leader Shivpal Singh Yadav has been given ticket from Badaun seat. dharmendra Yadav has been mp from this seat twice but after Salim Sherwani's displeasure and Swami prasad Maurya's resignation, the Badaun ticket was changed. Salim Sherwani has been a five-time mp from Badaun, while Swami prasad Maurya's daughter Sanghamitra Maurya is currently an mp from Badaun with the bjp symbol. The party has nominated praveen Singh Aron from Bareilly and Ajendra Singh Rajput from hamirpur lok sabha seat. According to sources, dharmendra Yadav can be given ticket from Azamgarh.
List of in-charges also released
Along with the candidates, Samajwadi party has also released the list of in-charges for the lok sabha elections. SP has made Mehboob ali and ram Avtar saini in-charge from Amroha. The responsibility of Kannauj and Azamgarh has been given to dharmendra Yadav. Whereas the responsibility of Baghpat has been given to Manoj Chaudhary.
