Congress protest against freezing of bank accounts, arrest of leaders

After the change of government in rajasthan, congress has shown strength on monday 19th February. congress leaders and MLAs demonstrated against the bjp central government at Statue Circle and attacked the government. Two MLAs of the city participated in this demonstration. There were congress MLAs from other areas of the state also. But, former cm Ashok Gehlot and former deputy cm Sachin Pilot were not pilots, which was also being discussed there. However, many former ministers participated in this demonstration.

Spokesperson Swarnim Chaturvedi said that the central government, adopting an undemocratic attitude, has frozen the bank accounts of All india congress Committee and youth congress and other congress units just before the lok sabha elections. Due to this, the central government of bjp took steps contrary to the principles of democracy with the intention of depriving the congress Party of preparation for the upcoming lok sabha elections.
