In fact, sonia gandhi is considered to have played an important role in giving separate state status to Telangana. At the same time, sonia gandhi talked about taking a decision at the right time on the request of chief minister Reddy. deputy chief minister Mallu bhatti vikramarka and State Revenue minister P. srinivas Reddy were also present during telangana CM's meeting with Sonia.
Moreover telangana cm revanth reddy also informed sonia gandhi about the progress in fulfilling the promises made by the government. The cm said that 2 out of 6 guarantees (free bus travel for women and increasing the Aarogyasri limit from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 15 lakh) have already been implemented. Under the scheme, about 14 crore women have traveled free in rtc buses.
