BJP's confidence is at peak, Congress in dull mode..?
Accordingly a few months are left for the lok sabha elections to be held in the country. Model code of conduct is also going to be announced across the country soon. Meanwhile, congress has started preparations for the lok sabha elections to hoist the flag of victory on four seats of Himachal. congress has invited applications from candidates willing to contest the lok sabha elections. These applications can be made from 9th february to 15th February. congress Organization General Secretary Rajneesh Kimta has said that these applications will be accepted till 5 pm on february 15.
Meanwhile candidates interested in contesting lok sabha elections will also have to deposit an amount of Rs 10,000. This application will be in Rajiv Bhawan, the state office of Himachal Congress. To contest lok sabha elections, it will also be necessary to be a congress worker. congress has invited applications from common workers as well as leaders and officials to contest the elections. It is noteworthy that earlier in the 2022 assembly elections also, congress had similarly invited applications from the candidates willing to contest the assembly elections.
Moreover there are four lok sabha seats in Himachal Pradesh. In the lok sabha elections of 2014 and 2019, bjp had won all the four lok sabha seats. In such a situation, congress is going to have a big challenge to stop the hat-trick of BJP's victory. The country's prime minister Narendra Modi has already claimed to win more than 400 seats of NDA. In such a situation, the confidence of bjp workers is also at its peak.
