Congress begins preparations for Lok Sabha elections
Currently keeping in view the lok sabha elections, along with bjp, AAP and congress have also started their preparations. In this series, congress has started brainstorming for four lok sabha seats in ujjain, the home town of State chief minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. These are said to include Mandsaur, Ratlam, ujjain and indore lok sabha seats. Except Ratlam, all these lok sabha seats have been held by bjp for a long time.
Earlier on monday (February 5), congress State President Jitu Patwari, assembly Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar along with state in-charge and other congress leaders gathered in Ujjain. congress mla Mahesh Parmar said that preparations for the lok sabha elections have started. In this connection, the State President had invited him to ujjain for a meeting with the election coordinator, co-coordinator and other leaders.
As per report a workers' conference has also been organized in ujjain, which will be addressed by the state president and other big leaders. According to mla Mahesh Parmar, this time congress is going to increase its seats in the lok sabha elections. In ujjain, the city of Lord Mahakal, brainstorming is also being done regarding the lok sabha seat of Indore. Apart from this, huge discussions are also going on regarding Ratlam, Mandsaur and ujjain lok sabha seats. However, the high command will select the candidates. Moreover for the first time after becoming the state president, Jitu Patwari will address the workers' conference in Ujjain. This event has been organized in a private complex, in which the target has also been set to call the workers on a large scale. congress MLAs and defeated candidates are also participating in this workers conference, not only this, welcome hoardings have also been put up across the city.
