Former Union minister of State for home Swami Chinmayanand came before the media after the MP-MLA was acquitted by the court on the charges of raping a student. The former minister said that the allegations were leveled against him as part of a political conspiracy to tarnish his image. He had been very active in the ram mandir movement, hence his political rivals had hatched this conspiracy against him.

On the dispute over religious places in Kashi and mathura, Swami Chinmayanand said that both Hindu and Muslim parties should resolve the dispute with mutual consent. He said that the ancestors of all the Muslims of india are Hindus, hence they should not associate themselves with the invaders. Former Union minister of State for home Swami Chinmayanand says that the allegations leveled against me were made after the court's decision on ram Janmabhoomi because I had worked in the Ramchandra Bhoomi movement.

Muslims will not go out of the country

The former Union minister said that some political people had done such work so as not to take credit for it. On the issue of mathura and Kashi, Swami Chinmanand says that it would be great if both the communities sit together and find a solution to this problem because the Muslims living in the country will not go out of the country. Their ancestors are also from India. I urge the Muslims of the country not to associate themselves with the invaders. They are people associated with the beliefs of India. Let us tell you that yesterday the court had acquitted the former Union minister in a 13 year old rape case.
