Reportedly one thing that has always happened in a country like india is that the government's expenditure has been more than the government's revenue. Many times a committee was also formed on this, which talked about controlling it, because the debt keeps increasing and everyone knows what happens to the country after it increases. There was an effort by the government, but the pandemic came in between. During Corona, all the plans of the government went upside down. Despite that, the government has been able to control it to a great extent, it is currently around 5% of the GDP and it has to be kept below 5. Many public sector governments are now looking towards central planning because they have failed. There has been benefit in that also. So, disinvestment has increased. Last year the government has taken many steps, so this time it is also showing it in the interim budget.

Meanwhile the way the Finance minister started the budget speech, he said the same in his entire speech. Emphasizing on women, he said that till now one crore lakhpati didis have been created. 9 crore women are associated with 83 lakh help groups. The target of Lakhpati Didi has been increased from 2 crores to 3 crores. The government also made many big announcements in the interim budget for farmers, the other targeted category of the government. The government will make a plan to help dairy farmers. Referring to PM sampada Yojana, the Finance minister said that till now 38 lakh farmers have benefited from it. Modi government has created a separate department for fisheries and there is a possibility of providing 55 lakh new jobs through PM Matsya Yojana. Emphasis is being laid on skill development for the youth, there is emphasis on infrastructure development and overall this budget is not election-oriented because the government's hands are tied, but still the government has made many populist announcements. The Finance minister said that the government is close to achieving the target of 3 crore houses through the Central Government's Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. 2 crore people will get more houses in the next 5 years. 300 units of free electricity will be provided to the homes of 1 crore poor people through solar panels.

Furthermore the future path in the budget will be that the focus will be on higher investment, education etc. There is talk of promoting women. The domestic economy should be strengthened, meaning that the economy should be able to bear any shock. The government is also very concerned about climate change and it is not that no government has talked about it, but other governments of any country, they just talk big. But it has been implemented a lot in india and will be implemented in future also.
