Reportedly there is uproar for the last two days in many districts of the state including patna due to less vacancy in Railways. On tuesday (January 30), candidates also demonstrated for hours in Patna. Railway candidates took to the streets demanding increase in ALP and technician seats. Now big information has come out from Railways regarding this. Meanwhile General Manager of east Central Railway, Anil Kumar Khandelwal has said that this time the vacancy has been announced in January. Vacancy will be released in Railways every year continuously from 2025. Along with this, due to the Corona period, vacancy was not coming out since 2018, so in view of that, a relaxation of three years has also been given. This will be beneficial for those whose age has increased.
Perhaps earlier in 2018, there was recruitment for 64371 posts of ALP and Technician. This recruitment was for various trends of ITI. General Manager of east Central Railway, Anil Kumar Khandelwal said that the recruitment of loco pilots has been done as per the need so that the vacant posts can be filled. He told that we conduct recruitment as per the vacancies. Some of these are filled on promotion. Some restoration is done. Candidates who have misconceptions that more posts were vacant need to be removed.
Moreover it was said that around six and a half thousand posts of loco pilots were vacant. Some of these are filled with promotions. Candidates said that Railways had told that there are around 20 thousand vacancies but only 5600 vacancies have been taken out. The General Manager said that recruitment problems will not only be considered but will also be solved. He told that checks are done every six months. Last year, more than 16000 vacancies were released in which around 8000 were appointed. Now every year the Railway Recruitment Board is making preparations for appointment to all the posts.
