As per report Samajwadi party has released its first list of candidates for the lok sabha elections, in which the names of 16 candidates have been announced. In this, SP has made former mp dharmendra Yadav its candidate from Badaun seat, although his name was already considered fixed, dharmendra Yadav remembered late leader mulayam singh yadav and thanked SP President akhilesh yadav for this.

Meanwhile dharmendra Yadav is the cousin of SP President akhilesh yadav and has been mp from Badaun seat twice. He had also done a lot of work in this field during the SP government, due to which his name was being discussed a lot. dharmendra Yadav has thanked him for making him the candidate. While sharing the first list of SP on X, he said, 'Heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the Honorable National President for giving me the opportunity to again serve the historical land of Badaun, the birthplace of respected Netaji. Thank you for the love and blessings given to me by the citizens of Badaun.

Perhaps in fact, SP founder mulayam singh yadav has a special relationship with Badaun. That's why dharmendra Yadav also called it his work place. Mulayam Singh had also contested elections from Gunnaur assembly seat of Sambhal, at that time this seat was in Badaun district, Mulayam Singh knew even the smallest worker here by name. Since then he remained continuously associated with Badaun. Some member of his family has been associated with this place.

After the announcement of dharmendra Yadav's name, a lot of enthusiasm is being seen among SP workers. He has been active here for a long time and is continuously going from village to village and meeting people. dharmendra Yadav had to data-face defeat from here in the 2019 lok sabha elections. At that time Sanghamitra Maurya had won the election from BJP. She is the daughter of Swami prasad Maurya who is now the national general secretary of SP.
