Earlier on Tuesday, SP released the first list of 16 candidates. The party has once again expressed confidence in Akshay Yadav from firozabad lok sabha seat. Akshay Yadav comes from the Saifai family and is the son of Samajwadi Party's chief national general secretary ram Gopal Yadav.

Meanwhile Samajwadi party has placed its bets on Akshay Yadav, uncle of Samajwadi party national president akhilesh yadav and son of party's chief national general secretary ram gopal yadav from firozabad seat. Akshay Yadav has previously been an elected member from firozabad lok sabha seat. Akshay Yadav was born on 25 october 1986 in Etawah district. Akshay Yadav remains active in the politics of firozabad and keeps doing party work along with election activities.

Furthermore Akshay Yadav, brother of Saifai family and Samajwadi party national president akhilesh yadav, has been given the responsibility of firozabad lok sabha seat. Akshay Yadav was elected from firozabad lok sabha seat in 2014. In the 2014 lok sabha elections, Akshay Yadav won the election by defeating SP Singh Baghel, but in the 2019 lok sabha elections, Akshay Yadav had to data-face defeat. In the 2019 lok sabha elections, Akshay Yadav lost the election to bjp candidate Chandrasen Jadaun. Moreover Akshay Yadav continued to play the role of an active leader for Samajwadi party in the 2017 assembly elections. Earlier, after Shivpal Yadav's separation from Samajwadi party, it was being speculated that Shivpal Yadav might contest against Akshay Yadav from firozabad, but now the entire Samajwadi party family has come together again and in such a situation, there is a possibility of contesting for firozabad lok sabha seat. The responsibility has been handed over to former mp Akshay Yadav, son of Chief National General Secretary ram Gopal Yadav.
