Poll results are out on whether Nitish Kumar's return to the bjp alliance will pay off in the upcoming elections.

Bihar chief minister and United Janata Dal leader Nitish Kumar has left the india Alliance which has united against the BJP. Nitish Kumar, who resigned from the post of bihar chief minister, is back as chief minister with the support of bjp MLAs. He has also announced that he will withdraw from the alliance of opposition parties 'India'. He also said that the situation with the india alliance is not good.

Nitish Kumar, who was the main reason for the formation of the india alliance, has left the alliance and has created a stir in the political arena. Many are criticizing him as an opportunist. However, the NDTV Prashnam poll found that the incident, which took place a few months before the lok sabha elections, has boosted the BJP's chances.

With Bihar's next state assembly elections due in 2025, the survey of around 4,000 people suggests that this shift in bihar could turn the tide in favor of the bjp in the general elections. 53 percent of the people who participated in this survey said that they will vote for the BJP-JD alliance in the upcoming lok sabha elections. 23 percent said they support RJD-Congress alliance. The remaining 24 percent said they would vote for other parties and were undecided.

When asked what would be their voting preference if the Mahakathbandhan alliance consisting of parties including United Janata Dal, RJD and congress continued, 35 percent of people supported the Mahakathbandhan alliance and 35 percent supported the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance. With this, it has been revealed that Nitish Kumar's return has turned in favor of the National Democratic Alliance.

After the reshuffle in bihar, about 73 percent of nda voters said they would support the BJP-JD alliance. This indicates that Nitish Kumar's arrival has been largely accepted by the bjp electorate.

Not only the upcoming lok sabha elections, but also the 2025 bihar state assembly elections, the survey found that it would benefit the BJP. 54 percent of the respondents said they would support the BJP-JDU alliance in the state assembly elections. 27 percent said they support RJD-Congress alliance

Similarly, 41 percent said that they would vote for the alliance in the 2025 bihar assembly elections if the Mahakathbandhan alliance consisting of parties including United Janata Dal, RJD and congress continued as it was. 35 percent said they will vote for the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance.
