Rajya Sabha elections will be held on 56 seats in 15 states.!?

Recently the election commission has announced the dates of rajya sabha elections. In which elections are also to be held on 10 seats of Uttar Pradesh. Announcing the dates of rajya sabha elections, the election commission has said that nominations of candidates will start from february 8. Voting for rajya sabha elections will take place on 27th february and counting of votes will take place on the same day. According to the letter issued by the election commission, nominations will start from 8th february and the last date for nomination is 15th February. Along with this, scrutiny of nomination papers will be held on 16th february and the last date for withdrawal of nominations is 20th February.

Perhaps of the 10 seats in UP where elections are to be held, 9 seats are held by bjp MPs and one seat is in SP's account. If we talk about bjp MPs among the rajya sabha MPs from UP whose tenure is ending in april, then Vijaypal Singh Tomar, ashok Bajpai, Anil Jain, Harnath Singh Yadav, Sakal Deep Rajbhar, Kanta Kardam, GVL narasimha Rao, Anil Aggarwal, There is Sudhanshu Trivedi, along with this the tenure of jaya bachchan from Samajwadi party is ending in April.

There are 3 seats, 3 seats in Odisha, 1 seat in Uttarakhand, 1 seat in Chhattisgarh, 1 seat in haryana and 1 seat in Himachal Pradesh. The tenure of 50 rajya sabha members is going to end on april 2 and the tenure of 6 members will end on april 3.
