IND vs ENG 2nd Test: No Jadeja, Rahul – BCCI gives chance to 3 players

BCCI has officially announced that both ravindra jadeja and KL rahul have been ruled out of the 2nd Test against England.

England, who toured india, are playing a 5-match Test series. In this, the indian team lost the first Test match which started on 25th by 28 runs. ravindra jadeja suffered a muscle cramp during this match. Due to this, it was reported that he withdrew from the 2nd Test match.


In this situation, both ravindra jadeja and KL rahul have withdrawn from the 2nd Test match to be held in Visakhapatnam on february 2. Jadeja is out with muscle cramps. Also, bcci informed that KL rahul has withdrawn due to pain in the hamstring region of his right leg.


Also, the bcci Medical Committee is monitoring the progress of both. Sarfraz Khan, Saurabh Kumar and washington sundar have been included in India's squad for the 2nd Test against England.


Sarans Jain has replaced washington sundar in the india A squad for the 3rd and 4th 3-day series against the england Lions starting february 1 in Ahmedabad. Avesh Khan will continue to play for madhya pradesh in the Ranji Trophy series. The bcci said that he will be included in the indian squad for the Test series when required.


KL rahul scored 86 and 22 in the first Test. Similarly, ravindra jadeja added 87 runs and 2 runs. In the absence of Virat Kohli, both KL rahul and ravindra jadeja have been ruled out of the 2nd Test. This is a huge setback for the indian team.
