The supreme court has entered the 75th year of its establishment. On this occasion, prime minister Narendra Modi started the Diamond Jubilee Celebration and the new website of the supreme court was also launched. Along with Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, Chief Justices of High Courts and former judges of the supreme court were also present in the program. Chief Justice of india DY Chandrachud, while addressing the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the supreme court, said, “The supreme court was established with the idealistic spirit that laws would be interpreted by the Constitutional court in accordance with the rule of law and not According to colonial values or social hierarchy. These laws will not be made on the basis of values and social classification of the british Government.”
Chief Justice told how the court should work
He further said, “This reaffirms the belief that the judiciary should act as a protective shield against injustice, tyranny and arbitrariness. The supreme court is an institution of reconciliation and justice. The fact that people come here in large numbers shows how successful we have been in playing our role.”

On this occasion, prime minister Narendra Modi said, “The supreme court has given many decisions on individual rights and freedom of speech. This has given a new direction to the socio-political environment of the country. The laws being made today will strengthen the india of tomorrow.
